Disclaimer:  I received the XX2i Hawaii1 Sunglasses to review as part of being a BibRave Pro.  Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro and check out BibRave.com to review, find and write race reviews.
I'm a pretty avid sunglasses wearer and have found myself more and more picky about what kind of sunglasses I'm wearing. I got to test out the USA1 from XX2i earlier this year and really grew to love the brand. My only criticism of those as time has gone on is that they can feel a little tighter on my face. When the folks at XX2i gave me the opportunity to test out their new Hawaii1 glasses, I was excited! I knew they had a different shape to them and was curious to see if the fit would be better for me.
When I first tried them on, I immediately noticed how lightweight they were. They are made of a carbon fiber, which makes them almost unnoticeable when they are on my face. The other big factor for me was that they don't have a bottom support piece, but are instead open. This makes them feel less restrictive around my face, and also helps me have no blind spot when looking straight down at the path while I'm running. Another big selling point for me is that the lenses are polarized which keeps them from fogging up. They also keep out UV rays for the ultimate eye protection.
These really are the ultimate glasses for the active person- running, biking, any outdoor activity. The glasses are built to stay put on your face no matter how much moving around you do. I raced a 10 mile race today in them and forgot they were on my face!!

And compared to some of the similar sunglasses on the market, I think the price point on these makes them really agreeable! And, for a limited time, save 50% on a pair of XX2i Sunglasses with the code "XX2iRocks"!!

The bottom line: if you're looking for a pair of no-fuss sunglasses while you stay active this summer, you can't go wrong with the Hawaii1!!
